NSU Takes a Stand Against Hate

NSU is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for all our students, faculty, and staff. The “Wall of Hate” has been constructed for 20 years at the Fort Lauderdale/Davie Campus and is intended to be a safe place for students to write down words that hurt them and those they love, and then tear it down.

The wall will be torn down today (10/23/23) to represent the demolishing of hate speech and show unity and support of a diverse and inclusive environment where we all feel safe and have a sense of belonging. Hate has no place on our campus or in our society and we stand with our students, faculty, and staff. Words hurt, and words can heal.
