Nova Southeastern University Continues Moving ‘Up in the Rankings’

U.S. News and World Report Shows NSU Making Gains; Up 14 Spots in 2022 and 33 Spots the Past Two Years

FORT LAUDERDALE/DAVIE, Fla. – The latest rankings from U.S. News and World Report are out, and like its mascot the mako shark, Nova Southeastern University (NSU) continues moving forward!

The 2022 Best Colleges rankings show NSU at 213 in the nation, which is 14 spots higher than last year. In last year’s rankings, NSU jumped up 19 spots, which was the second largest increase by a Florida institution of higher learning. In addition, this year NSU ranked third of all private universities in Florida. Climbing 33 spots in just two years is no small accomplishment and shows that NSU is on the right path, providing today’s students with what they want as they continue their educational journey.

NSU has worked hard providing students with an edge that sets them apart in their professional and personal lives. Being student-centered is one of NSU’s core values and is at the heart of what drives the university forward every day. Everyone at NSU is committed to being better today than they were yesterday, and better tomorrow than they are today – and it is that commitment to excellence and improvement that are reflected in the university’s continued rise in the annual rankings.

U.S. News & World Report ranks schools according to their performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence, such as graduation and retention rates, assessment of excellence and student selectivity. Scores for each measure are weighted to arrive at a final score.
