An estimated 1.5 million ex-felons in Florida are now eligible to register to vote due to the passage of Amendment 4 during the November elections. The landmark ballot initiative restored voting rights for state residents with felony convictions who have completed their sentences, with the exception of those convicted of murder or a sexual offence.
