For more than 30 years, Nova Southeastern University (NSU) has been administering the Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program. This “army” of researchers and NSU students take to Broward’s beaches every year from March – October, monitoring the annual nesting season of sea turtles.
Recently, WPLG Channel 10 Miami joined the team on the beach as they checked for new nests and examined nests that had already hatched. You can see the story below
