The ACHE competition is based on a case study topic that reflects the latest issues or challenges in the healthcare industry and under the guidance of healthcare professionals has been hailed as best practice by both ACHE and the Association of University Public Health Administration (AUPHA). Throughout the competition, the teams work with their mentors plus a liaison from a local healthcare organization. On the case competition day, the student teams present their work to a panel of judges of C-Suite healthcare leaders.
