WHAT:            2021 Veterans Day Celebration

WHERE:           NSU’s Fort Lauderdale Campus – Armed Forces Service Plaza at the Horvitz Administration Building – 3300 S. University Drive.

WHEN:            11 a.m. Thursday, November 11

WHY:               NSU’s Military Affairs is proud to invite you to celebrate its annual Veterans Day Celebration! During this ceremony we will honor our veterans/military affiliated students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community supporters. There will be a special recognition ceremony announcing the 2021 honorees of the “Nominate A Vet & Cadet” program. 

Guest speakers include:

  • NSU Veteran SGA representative, Andrew Herndon
  • NSU Vice President of Facilities, Danny Alfonso
  • NSU Executive Associate Dean, Dr. Ken Jonson
  • Distinguished NSU Alumnus, Major General ‘Burn’ Loeffke

 

The event is open to the NSU community and invited guests. Light refreshments will be provided to those in attendance. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP by registering ONLINE.
