NSU to Host Ochocinco SuperSlam Charity Basketball Game

Game Features NFL Greats, Hollywood Celebrities, Music Superstars, Social Media Personalities and More

What do NFL’ers Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, Terrell Owens (HOF 2018), NBA Hall of Famer (2017) Tracy McGrady, tennis star Coco Gauff and Nova Southeastern University have in common?

They are all part of the 2020 Celebrity SuperSlam Charity Basketball Game!

The game, taking place during Super Bowl LIV festivities, will tip off Fri., Jan. 31st at NSU’s Rick Case Arena, 3100 Ray Ferrero Jr. Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, 33314 (on NSU’s main campus.) Doors open at 6 p.m.

This a fun-filled game of hoops featuring past and present NFL greats, Hollywood celebrities, music superstars, social media personalities and many more. The event benefits Dj Irie’s Foundation(http://www.iriefoundation.org/).

In addition to the stars mentioned above, other SuperSlam players include, but are not limited to:

  • Flo-Rida, international music superstar;
  • Brent Grimes, current free-agent, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins cornerback;
  • Reshad Jones, strong safety, Miami Dolphins;
  • Willis McGahee, former NFL running back and University of Miami great;
  • Kris D. Lofton, actor from the TV series Ballers;
  • Jaden Piner, Oscar-winning actor, Moonlight
  • Nicole Zavala, star, VH1’s Cartel Crew
  • KONSHENS, reggae artist
