Professor Mahmood Shivji
Mahmood Shivji, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, Halmos College of Arts and Sciences, and Director of NSU’s Guy Harvey Research Institute and Save Our Seas Foundation Shark Research Center, was recently interviewed by WLRN on the subject of shark attacks. The increased awareness of shark bites on the news does not mean there is a rise of these incidents, he said.
