New Jersey is challenging a federal law that bars states from authorizing sports betting and gambling. The Supreme Court is taking up this case and if it strikes down the law, sports betting could become widely available.
In a recent interview with First News with Jim Cefalo, Robert M. Jarvis, J.D., professor of law, NSU’s Shepard Broad College of Law, talked about the implications of this law and if allowing sports betting hurts the integrity of the games.
