NSU Professor Mahmood Shivji, director of the NSU Guy Harvey Research Institute and the Save Our Seas Foundation Shark Research Center, was recently featured in an NBC 6 report on tips to reduce the risk of shark attacks. Shivji, with the Halmos College of Arts and Sciences, researches the understanding, conservation and management of marine species.
