Albert Williams, Ph.D., has been busy as of late providing his expertise to the media here and abroad on the subject of inflation. Williams, a frequent guest on NBC 6 in South Florida, appeared on the air this week discussing inflation and high fuel prices. Among the additional insight he offered included how fuel costs impact transportation costs, food costs, and other expenses. He also provided consumers with recommendations during these trying times. See the full story HERE.
Williams also was recently interviewed on the subject of global inflation and the high prices in Belize, his home country. He explained to the news station how inflation impacts the most vulnerable people of the society – those living in poverty. He then provided some solutions that consumers, businesses, and the government can implement. He suggested that consumers keep tabs on costs, including food, electricity, water, vehicle maintenance, driving more slowly, reducing the spending on luxury goods, and having big social gatherings. He recommended that businesses revisit costs and, where necessary, request assistance in tax subsidies from government. See the full story HERE.
