Distinguished Lectures, Boardroom Sessions, Workshops, Coaching, and Connections Position Students for Career Success
At H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship, we are excited to announce the launch of a new Speaker Series, aimed at enhancing the professional development of students. This initiative brings industry leaders from a wide array of business sectors to campus to connect with students and provide expert insights and perspectives on a broad range of business topics.
The format of the HCBE Speaker Series will provide a variety of events including Boardroom Sessions, Distinguished Lectures, Skills Workshops, Professional Coaching, Site Visits, and more… all aimed at providing students with more varied learning experiences and networking opportunities.
The events are open to all HCBE students, faculty, and staff, though some events may be specialized for select groups/individuals and have limited capacity. Here are the first three events:

ERIC MALKA
Entrepreneur and Investor, Founder of Strategic Brand Investments, and The Art of Shaving; Author of “On the Razor’s Edge”
Eric Malka will talk about what he learned about consumer-focused innovation and brand-building strategies, drawing from his experience in creating a global luxury brand acquired by Procter & Gamble/Gillette in 2009. After selling The Art of Shaving, Malka launched the purpose-driven angel fund Strategic Brand Investments (SBI) to invest in brands distinguished by high-quality natural ingredients, impeccable packaging, and compelling brand stories. SBI selects brands that resonate with consumers and that contribute positively to both human and planetary health.

HCBE M.S. in Human Resources Management alumnus, Nash brings her breadth of knowledge in executive coaching, human resources management, organizational development, employee relations, and project management to lead a Boardroom Session in the morning and Coaching Sessions in the afternoon. Nash is an accomplished human resources leader with impressive credentials and over 20 years of experience coaching individuals, teams, and organization leaders. In addition to her role at NASA, she is the founder of Acnestis Coaching & Consulting, LLC.
