NSU Immersive Med School Camp Offers High-Schoolers Insights into Healthcare Careers

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine is holding a medical school summer camp for high-achieving high school students interested in careers in the health professions on NSU’s Tampa Bay Regional Campus from Monday, June 23, through Friday, June 27. The campus is located at 3400 Gulf to Bay Blvd., Clearwater, Fla.

Achieve in Medicine (AIM) – High provides students with hands-on medical experiences and educates them on the role of technology in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.

Recognizing the critical need for healthcare providers in an industry facing workforce shortages, the camps offer in-depth medical experiences to high school students interested in the healthcare field. Students from across the nation participate in the program where they will get hours of instruction each day from NSU medical students and faculty.
