Graduates of Nova Southeastern University’s Ron and Kathy Assaf College of Nursing have passed the NCLEX-RN national licensure examination at a 98.7 percent rate, above the U.S. average pass rates of 88 percent and well above Florida’s average pass rate of 76 percent.
To legally practice as a professional registered nurse, graduates must pass the national licensure exam. The nursing college’s most recent Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduates posted the impressive licensure pass rate.
“These graduates are on their way to becoming quality nurses, making us proud,” said Stefanie La Manna, dean and associate professor at the College of Nursing. “What a privilege to play a part in their journey. When they graduate, they will be among the best nursing professionals in the industry.”
NSU’s NCLEX pass rate places the university among the top Florida’s nursing schools, positioning graduates for leadership and success as competent, workforce-ready professionals. The college’s accolades also include being top ranked by U.S. News and World Report and placing number one in the collegefactual.com’s ranking of Best Nursing Schools in Florida.
NSU has long been recognized for its quality nursing programs, along with other health care programs in its schools of medicine (both MD and DO), dentistry, pharmacy, optometry, psychology, and health care sciences.
