With GPAs of 3.75 and higher (and four with a GPA of 4.0), 16 Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship students pursuing a Master in Public Administration degree were inducted into the Pi Alpha Alpha Global Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration. Pi Alpha Alpha is run by NASPAA: The Global Standard in Public Service Education. There are more than 160 chapters located around the world at NASPAA member schools.
Pi Alpha Alpha membership identifies those with the highest performance levels in educational programs preparing them for public service careers. Membership is limited to persons with a minimum GPA of 3.7 who demonstrate academic achievement in public affairs and administration programs in NASPAA member schools and/or outstanding public service. Pi Alpha Alpha encourages and recognizes exemplar scholarship and accomplishment in public affairs and administration. It fosters integrity, professionalism, and effective performance.
